Chairside Modifications: Valgus Wedging

I uploaded a short (and very amateur!) video to YouTube recently of how to make very quick and inexpensive modifications to a trainer sockliner in the context of full length valgus (lateral) wedging. This is something that may wish to be trialled in pathologies such as peroneal tendinopathy and medial knee compartment osteoarthritis where the goal is to shift the centre of pressure more laterally and increase the external pronation moment. Take a look and please do provide any feedback you may have (good and bad) via my twitter or Facebook pages.

I have already had a request for a similar video on a way to make similar cheap and temporary modifications for plantar fascia irritation – it is on my to do list and I’ll hopefully get to it soon. Any other short vids along this theme that may be of interest please do let me know.

Hope you enjoy.
